The Resolution Solution

Whether you’ve proclaimed a 2008 New Year’s resolution or not, lasting motivation proves to be a challenging task. Consider the cycle below to help stay on track in reaching your goals.

Resolution Cycle

Don’t be afraid to be a dreamer, what you envision determines what you can be.

Interest:
Where interests spark, actions follow. Choose a goal and action plan that excite you.
Objective:
Just like defining your purpose on a resume, turn thoughts into actions by defining your personal goals.
Plan:
Grab a calendar and mark your long-term goal date. Then start today, this week and month; determine immediate steps and short-term goals that will bring you closer to your destination.
Support:
Talk about your goal with friends and loved ones that will help your cause. It can be the support from others that carries you.
Action:
Excuses are easy and life is short. Go! Do! Be!
Results:
You make them happen. Continue the journey and be all that you can imagine.
