The Moda Assist Program uses on-court assists to give kids of all abilities a place to play, learn and grow.
The Blazers bring the ball down court, a player is open under the basket, his teammate passes him the ball, he shoots and SCORES! The fans go crazy as they watch the replay on the jumbotron. A thousand high-fives celebrate the score, but the assist is also another score for Oregon communities! That’s what the Moda Assist Program is all about - using on-court assists to raise money for all-abilities playgrounds in Oregon where every BODY can play.
Along with having a place for kids to stay active and fit, play is good for their brain growth and development. A day at the park also gives adults and caregivers a healthy break, and helps bring communities closer together.
We’re proud to announce that the community of Woodburn, Oregon, has received this year’s Moda Assist funds for a new all-abilities playground at Settlemier Park.
We have exciting news to share. ODS is changing its name to Moda Health.
Moda comes from the latin term "modus" and means "a way". We picked it because that's what we are here to do: help our communities find a way to better health.
Together, we can be more, be better.
