20-year Moda employee hikes Himalayas in 'trip of a lifetime'
Medical Claims Manager Regina Klettke trained for her 130-mile trek in Nepal by walking the stairs at Moda Tower on her lunch break and hiking Mount Hood and the Columbia River Gorge. Injury nearly put the trip at risk, but she persevered. "It was an incredible adventure," she said. "I feel like now I can accomplish anything."
Moda employees go the extra mile
When longtime Moda customer service trainer Shell Martin passed away in November, her coworkers wondered how they'd cope with the loss. Now they'll channel her upbeat energy at one of the city's most popular events, taking part in the Shamrock Run's 4-mile walk as a tribute to her memory.
Moda Assist Program
As part of Moda's 10-year partnership with the Portland Trail Blazers, we created the Moda Assist Program to support healthy, active living for kids. For every assist made on the court during the regular season, the Blazers and Moda donate $10 to the Trail Blazers Foundation to support building an all abilities playground in one lucky community.
