Getting care during a disaster
If the Governor of your state, the U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services, or the President of the United States declares a state of disaster or emergency in your geographic area, you are still entitled to care from your plan.
To obtain more information about the status of a disaster, refer to the FEMA Disaster Information page.
Moda Health Medicare Advantage plans will allow you to obtain care from out-of-network providers at the in-network cost-sharing during a disaster.
If your Moda Health Medicare Advantage plan has Part D prescription drug coverage, and if you cannot use a network pharmacy during a disaster, you can fill your prescription drugs at an out-of-network pharmacy.
The pharmacy network and/or provider network may change at any time. You will receive notice when necessary. Always keep your member contact information up to date.
